South Dakota Veterans Home Miscellaneous Projects

Despite our distance from the project(s) site and despite our status as out-of-state architects, we have become the State of South Dakota Office of the State Engineer’s preferred architect for miscellaneous remodel projects on this historic campus.

The separate projects include: a historic barn stabilization; a miscellaneous door replacement project throughout the campus; a historic window replacement and building envelope/energy audit of the main historic administration office building constructed in 1889; and a re-roof of the main historic administration building. All projects have been coordinated to keep the facility completely functional with minimum disruption to the state staff offices and residents. Separate asbestos abatement projects accompanied each separate project.
